All sessions are horse lead thus duration of appointments may vary, though typically will run 60 to 90 minutes.
In most instances, a handler is not needed or required to be present for the entirety of the session. I do however ask that owners be present for the initial introduction period. This helps me best become acquainted with the horse and environment I will be working in.
** Please have your intake form and liability waiver completed before your appointment start time.
The focus of follow-up sessions is to continue to release tension in previously observed areas and work through any potentially new restrictions that are found.
If you're scheduling a follow-up session and will not be present, a fee will be added should I need to halter and groom a horse before beginning.
If there have been any changes to a horse's health or routine since the previous visit, please let me know.
A demonstration starts with me working through a whole horse bodywork session. While the group audits this portion, there will be time for open discussion around the principles of the Masterson Method® and the benefits each technique offers. Following this, participants will have hands-on time with their horses and can practice several of the Search Response Stay Release techniques. These demonstrations are a great way to become more familiar with the basic principles of the Masterson Method®. They, however, do not provide instruction for the techniques that require movement as those are reserved for instructors teaching the two and five-day seminars.
Hosting an event can bring together your equine community in a fun and interactive way. They can be coupled with things such as holiday gatherings, seasonal offerings, ladies' nights, club meetings, or educational experiences. Contact me directly if you're interested in hosting a demonstration at your facility!
Send a horse friend the gift of a bodywork session or buy it now for your future use.
